A bit about me

Welcome to my website, where psychology, human behaviour, and evidence-based research come together to explore the complexities of the human mind. I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology and researcher with expertise in psychometrics, clinical assessment, behavioural science, and evidence-based psychological research.

My research interests include autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental disabilities, human emotion and cognition, behavioural and experimental psychology, and innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR) in psychological research. I have completed my PhD in Counselling Psychology at the Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chennai, with my doctoral research supported by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) through the Senior Research Fellowship (ICMR-SRF).

My work focuses on psychological assessment, intervention research, clinical trials, eye-tracking studies, educational curriculum development, and translational research aimed at improving understanding and support for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions.

I was honoured to receive the European Commission – Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Seal of Excellence Award (2025) for my research proposal. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to advance psychological science by integrating emerging technologies with evidence-based approaches to enhance human wellbeing and deepen our understanding of behaviour
